Add a DreamWidget to Wix
Where it goesEmbed HTML element
What you needAny Wix plan can use the Embed HTML element. Code on every page (Custom Code) needs a Premium plan and a connected domain.
First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both.
Add a widget to a page
- Add an embedIn the Wix Editor press Add Elements (+), then Embed Code, then "Embed HTML".
- Choose Code and pasteSelect "Code", paste your DreamWidget code and press Update.
- Size and publishDrag the element to the width you want, set its height roughly, and publish.
A popup, bar or chat buttons on every page
Floating widgets do not need a spot in the layout; they load once per page and float over it.
- Open Custom CodeIn the site dashboard go to Settings, then Custom Code, and press "+ Add Custom Code".
- Place it in the bodyPaste the code, choose "All pages", "Body - end", and apply.
Worth knowing: Wix shows embeds in their own frame; give the element enough height for the widget on desktop and on mobile view.
Check it worked
Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on Wix by themselves; you never paste the code again.
