Add a DreamWidget to Google Sites

What you needFree. Google Sites runs embeds in a sealed frame, so floating widgets such as a popup or chat buttons cannot reach the page.
First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both.
Add a widget to a page
- Insert an embedIn the editor choose Insert, then Embed, then the "Embed code" tab.
- Paste and insertPaste your DreamWidget code, press Next, then Insert.
- ResizeDrag the box to the height the widget needs and publish.
Floating widgets: Google Sites does not let a script reach the page, so a popup, announcement bar or chat buttons cannot float over it. Every inline widget works.
Worth knowing: Inline widgets work well here: the Logo Showcase, the video widgets, FAQ, countdown and counter.
Check it worked
Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on Google Sites by themselves; you never paste the code again.
