Add a DreamWidget to Weebly

What you needWorks on every Weebly plan.
First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both.
Add a widget to a page
- Drag in Embed CodeFrom the Build panel drag "Embed Code" onto the page.
- Edit Custom HTMLClick the element, choose "Edit Custom HTML" and paste your DreamWidget code.
- PublishClick outside the element and publish.
A popup, bar or chat buttons on every page
Floating widgets do not need a spot in the layout; they load once per page and float over it.
- Add footer codeGo to Settings, then SEO, paste the code into "Footer Code" and save.
Worth knowing: Weebly may show "Click to set custom HTML" until you publish; the live site shows the widget.
Check it worked
Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on Weebly by themselves; you never paste the code again.
