The terms, in plain words

What DreamWidget is

A service that hosts and serves embeddable widgets, such as a Logo Showcase, a Video Showcase, an Instagram feed, a Showreel, a Countdown and a Popup, which you set up in a dashboard and place on your own sites with a short embed code. The free plan is free for as long as you like, with the limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are subscriptions that renew until canceled.

Your account

You must be able to enter a contract where you live. Keep your sign-in to yourself; what happens under it is yours. You may delete the account at any time from its settings page, and everything in it goes.

What you put in a widget

The logos, photos, links and videos you add are yours to add: you must have the right to show them, and you must not use a widget for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful, or to serve content that infringes someone else's rights. We may take down a widget that breaks this, and we will tell you when we do. Video content is shown from YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch and TikTok under their terms, which bind you as their user.

What stays ours

The service, its software, its designs and its name belong to DreamWidget. A plan gives you a license to set up widgets and show them on your own sites for as long as the plan runs, and nothing more: you may not copy, adapt, resell or rehost the software or the service, take its code or its designs apart to build a competing service, or use the API or the embeds to serve anything but your own widgets. This applies whether a person or a program bought the plan, including a plan bought through the API by x402. Your own logos, photos, links, videos and the settings you choose remain yours.

Availability

We serve widgets from a global CDN and check the service every five minutes from outside it. We aim for it to be up every hour of every day and do not promise that it never is not. If an outage on our side lasts long enough to matter, tell us and we will refund the period affected on request.

Payment, refunds and changes

Card payments are taken by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record; crypto payments from the account page go through NOWPayments, and x402 payments from programs are settled by the Coinbase, t54 and AMNT facilitators (the privacy policy says what each receives). The purchase terms apply. For a card plan: inside the first fourteen days of a plan you may cancel from your account page and what you paid for that term is refunded in full, at once; after fourteen days a cancel runs to the end of the term you paid for, and that term is not refunded. A crypto or x402 payment is final once confirmed on its network and is not refunded. The price you sign up at stays yours while you stay subscribed. We may change these terms or the plans; existing subscribers keep their price, and we will email you about any change that affects what you have.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything arising from it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales from a widget not showing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the place DreamWidget's owner is established, and disputes go to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you a right to your own courts, which you keep.
