Add a DreamWidget to Webflow

What you needCustom code runs on published sites with a paid Site plan or a paid Workspace; it does not run in the free webflow.io preview.
First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both.
Add a widget to a page
- Add a Code EmbedOpen the Add panel, drag a "Code Embed" element onto the page.
- Paste and savePaste your DreamWidget code and press "Save & Close".
- PublishPublish the site; the Designer shows a placeholder, the published page shows the widget.
A popup, bar or chat buttons on every page
Floating widgets do not need a spot in the layout; they load once per page and float over it.
- Open site custom codeIn Site settings go to the Custom code tab.
- Paste in the footerPaste the code into "Footer code" and save, then publish.
Worth knowing: Give the Code Embed a width in the Style panel; the widget fills whatever width it is given.
Check it worked
Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on Webflow by themselves; you never paste the code again.
