Add a DreamWidget to Notion

Where it goes/embed block
What you needFree. Notion shows embeds from a link only, so floating widgets cannot reach the page.

First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both. On Notion you use only the widget's link, which is the address inside src="…" in that code.

Add a widget to a page

  1. Copy the widget linkIn the DreamWidget editor open Settings, then Embed code, and copy the address inside src="…" (it starts with https://cdn.dreamwidget.com/embed/).
  2. Add an embedIn your Notion page type /embed and press Enter.
  3. Paste the linkPaste the widget link and press "Embed link", then drag the corner to size it.
Floating widgets: Notion does not let a script reach the page, so a popup, announcement bar or chat buttons cannot float over it. Every inline widget works.
Worth knowing: Published Notion sites show the embed to visitors the same way.

Check it worked

Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on Notion by themselves; you never paste the code again.
