Add a DreamWidget to PrestaShop

What you needWorks on PrestaShop 1.7 and 8 with an HTML block module.
First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both.
Add a widget to a page
- Install an HTML moduleInstall a custom HTML block module (for example HTML Box) from Modules.
- PasteConfigure the module, paste your DreamWidget code and choose the hook (the place on the page).
- SaveSave and clear the cache.
A popup, bar or chat buttons on every page
Floating widgets do not need a spot in the layout; they load once per page and float over it.
- Use a footer hookPut the module on a footer hook so it loads on every page.
Worth knowing: PrestaShop strips scripts from CMS pages; use a module rather than the page editor.
Check it worked
Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on PrestaShop by themselves; you never paste the code again.
