Add a DreamWidget to BigCommerce

First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both.
Add a widget to a page
- Open Page BuilderGo to Storefront, then My Themes, and press Customize.
- Drag in HTMLDrag the "HTML" widget onto the page region.
- Paste and publishPaste your DreamWidget code into the widget and publish.
A popup, bar or chat buttons on every page
Floating widgets do not need a spot in the layout; they load once per page and float over it.
- Use Script ManagerGo to Storefront, then Script Manager, and create a script.
- Footer, all pagesChoose Footer as the location, All pages, Script type "Script", paste the code and save.
Worth knowing: Script Manager asks for the script category; choose Essential so consent banners do not block it.
Check it worked
Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on BigCommerce by themselves; you never paste the code again.
