Add a DreamWidget to Joomla

What you needWorks on Joomla 3, 4 and 5. Your editor account needs a text filter that allows scripts.
First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both.
Add a widget to a page
- Create a Custom moduleGo to Content, then Site Modules, press New and choose "Custom".
- Paste with the editor offPress "Toggle Editor" so you see plain HTML, paste your DreamWidget code and give the module a title.
- Place itChoose a module position and the menu pages it shows on, then Save & Close.
A popup, bar or chat buttons on every page
Floating widgets do not need a spot in the layout; they load once per page and float over it.
- Assign it to all pagesSet the same Custom module to "On all pages" in Menu Assignment, in a footer position.
Worth knowing: If the code disappears on save, set your user group to "No Filtering" under System, Global Configuration, Text Filters.
Check it worked
Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on Joomla by themselves; you never paste the code again.
