Add a DreamWidget to HTML and any other site

What you needWorks anywhere you can edit a page's HTML.
First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both.
Add a widget to a page
- Open the pageOpen the page's HTML file or template.
- PastePaste your DreamWidget code where the widget should appear.
- PublishSave and upload.
A popup, bar or chat buttons on every page
Floating widgets do not need a spot in the layout; they load once per page and float over it.
- Before the closing body tagFor a floating widget, paste the code just above </body> in your shared template.
Worth knowing: The code is one iframe and a small script; nothing else is needed on your server.
Check it worked
Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on HTML and any other site by themselves; you never paste the code again.
