Add a DreamWidget to Google Tag Manager

What you needFree. Best for floating widgets (popup, bar, chat buttons), which do not need a spot on the page.
First, copy your code. In the DreamWidget editor, open Settings and press Copy embed code. It is one iframe and a short script; paste both.
Add a widget to a page
- Create a tagIn your container press New, then Tag configuration, then "Custom HTML".
- PastePaste your DreamWidget code into the HTML box.
- Trigger and publishSet the trigger to the pages you want (for example All Pages), save, and Submit the container.
A popup, bar or chat buttons on every page
Floating widgets do not need a spot in the layout; they load once per page and float over it.
- Use the All Pages triggerThe same tag with the All Pages trigger puts a floating widget on every page.
Worth knowing: An inline widget from Tag Manager lands at the end of the page; place inline widgets in your site builder instead.
Check it worked
Open the published page in a private window. The widget draws within a second; if the box is empty, see Checking it worked. Changes you publish in the editor appear on Google Tag Manager by themselves; you never paste the code again.
