Framer
A video wall for Framer, in one Embed component.
Framer sites are built to look considered, and a row of default YouTube embeds does not. This is one Embed component that gathers YouTube playlists and channels, Vimeo showcases, Twitch channels and TikTok videos into one wall, in tabs, and plays each video in a window over your page.
The marks and videos in these examples are well known ones shown as samples, so the widget is demonstrated at a realistic size. They are their owners' and imply nothing about them.
Three steps
Putting it on the page
1. Gather the videos
Paste a channel, a playlist, a showcase or a handful of links. The widget fetches titles, thumbnails and counts and keeps them fresh.
2. Copy the code
The editor gives you your embed code: one short code (an iframe and a small script). Copy all of it.
3. Insert an Embed
Insert, Embed, paste the code, publish. Size the component and the wall fills it.
The honest comparison
Against native YouTube embeds
One embed per video is the default, and it is the slowest thing on most pages.
What a row of native embeds costs you
Each YouTube embed loads about half a megabyte of player before anyone presses play. Ten of them and the page crawls. And Vimeo, Twitch and TikTok each need their own embed style, none of which match.
What this costs you
One Embed component with your embed code in it. The wall is thumbnails until somebody clicks, so nothing loads a player it does not need, and the whole thing fills the frame you sized on the canvas at every breakpoint. Adding next month's video is a paste in our editor, not a republish. Views are never counted or capped on any paid plan.
The trade: it is built in our editor rather than on the Framer canvas, it shows as a placeholder until you preview or publish, and it needs a network connection to appear.

Can I put YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch and TikTok on one Framer page?
Yes. One Video Showcase gathers all four into one wall, in tabs, and plays each video in its own platform's player in a window over your page.
Why is the Embed blank on the Framer canvas?
Framer draws a placeholder for an Embed component rather than running it while you design. Use Preview, or publish, and the wall appears. Every third-party embed behaves this way on the canvas, not only ours.
Does it slow the page?
The wall is thumbnails and text until somebody opens a video; the player is fetched only at that moment. About 15KB reaches the page, in its own frame, after your content.
Will it fight my Framer breakpoints or effects?
No. It is an iframe with its own document, so your styles cannot reach into it and its styles cannot leak out. It fills the frame you size on the canvas, at every breakpoint.
Can I reuse the same wall across pages?
Put the Embed in a component and place it wherever you like. All of them point at the same widget, so adding a video in our editor changes every page at once, with nothing to republish.
Where does the video play?
In a window that opens over your page, inside the widget's own frame. That matters more than it sounds: browsers only autoplay with sound in the document that was clicked, so a player built on the host page stays silent.
Is there a view limit?
On the free plan, each widget can be shown 300 times a month, then it pauses until the month turns and comes back by itself. Every paid plan has no view limit, because views come off a CDN where they cost us nothing.
